    Stir fry chicken with BiGG Five Spice

    Stir fry Chicken with the Perfect Method!

    Tired of unevenly cooked stir-fries that lack flavour?

    BiGG Five Spice fixes that.

    With this recipe, you'll be able to make a delicious stir-fry every time without the stress! The secret to its success is to prepare the stir-fry in three parts, all of which can be made in advance. This way, you'll have all the ingredients ready to be combined into one tasty meal.

    Ingredients:

    • 300g sliced chicken thigh
    • 75g broccoli (small florets)
    • 75g sliced brown/red onion
    • 3 sliced garlic cloves
    • 100g sliced red capsicum
    • 100g sliced carrots
    • 4 sliced green tops of spring onions
    • BiGG Seasoning - Five Spice

    Stir-Fry Sauce:

    • 2 tsp oyster sauce
    • 2 tsp dark soy sauce
    • 2 tsp white sugar
    • 1 heaped tsp corn flour
    • 150ml water
    • 4 sliced white part of spring onions

    Chicken Marinade:

    • 1 beaten egg
    • 2 tsp corn flour
    • 2 tsp dark soy sauce

    Step-by-Step Method:

    1. Prepare all the vegetables and place them in separate bowls. Microwave the broccoli for 1 minute in a covered container.

    2. Marinate the sliced chicken thigh with beaten egg, 2 tsp corn flour, and 2 tsp dark soy sauce. Cook the chicken in a pan with some oil for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked and set aside. Clean the pan for later use.

    3. For the stir-fry sauce, sweat sliced garlic and spring onions in a pot for 2-3 minutes until tender. Then, pour the sauce into the pot and heat until thickened (2-3 minutes). Add 1 heaped tsp of BiGG Five Spice to the sauce and set it aside.

    4. You should now have: sliced vegetables and microwaved broccoli, cooked chicken, and thickened stir-fry sauce.

    5. To finish the stir-fry, heat up a heavy-based pan or wok on medium heat. Add 10ml oil and start cooking the carrots for 2 minutes while tossing/stirring frequently. Then, add the onions and capsicum and cook for another 2 minutes.

    6. Toss in the broccoli, cooked chicken, green part of spring onions, and the sauce. Mix everything well until everything is hot and ready to serve.

    7. Plate the stir-fry and sprinkle with BiGG Five Spice Seasoning. Enjoy your delicious and stress-free stir-fry meal!"
