    Stir fry chicken noodles

    This Stir Fry Chicken noodles dish is seasoned with BiGG Five Spice, a crunchy blend of spices commonly used in Chinese cooking that typically includes cinnamon, star anise, fennel, cloves, and Szechuan pepper. The sauce for the stir-fry is made by combining water, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, white sugar, and corn flour, which helps to thicken the sauce and provide additional flavor. The noodles are cooked separately, then combined with the stir-fried chicken and vegetables in the pan. The final dish is seasoned with an additional sprinkle of BiGG Five Spice and served hot.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 chicken thighs
    • 1/2 red capsicum, sliced
    • Handful of snowpeas
    • 1 serve of noodles
    • 1 tsp BiGG Five Spice

    Sauce:

    • 1 tsp BiGG Five Spice
    • 100 ml water
    • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
    • 1 tsp oyster sauce
    • 1 tsp white sugar
    • 1 tsp corn flour

    Instructions:

    1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions and drain. Set aside.

    2. Cut up the chicken thighs, red capsicum, and snowpeas and set aside.

    3. In a hot pan with sesame oil, cook the sliced chicken thighs for 5 minutes.

    4. Add the grated ginger/garlic and red capsicum and snowpeas to the pan and cook for an additional 4 minutes, stirring frequently.

    5. In a separate bowl, mix together the ingredients for the sauce. Pour the sauce into the pan with the noodles and stir.

    6. Sprinkle a good amount of BiGG Five spice on top of the stir-fry and serve hot. Enjoy!
